Give clean water to a child in need.

Water is one of the earth's most precious and threatened resources.
Health is one of each person's most precious resource.
We need to protect and enhance them both.
Water for Health.

Introduction
Research shows that about 3.4 million people, mostly children, die annually from water- related diseases. Most of these illnesses and deaths can be prevented through simple, inexpensive measures.

Safe water supply and adequate sanitation to protect health are among the basic human rights. Ensuring their availability would contribute immeasurably to health and productivity for development.

We don't have enough time to just wait for large infrastructure investments to provide these basic services to all who need them. Several simple interventions are available, such as improving the quality of water in their homes as well as improving hygiene education at the household level. Poor people can take charge of their own destinies and improve their lives by applying some of these measures.

About Us

providing the highest quality, safe, clean and refreshing water.

Since there are a lot of toxins in the water and on the basis of the wateranalysis from Kenya researched in Wageningen University, we designed a modern, more efficient, yet a cheaper water purification system, which will purify the water from toxins to create a safe and clean drinking water.

Our Project/Vision

—-- Water promises hope when it is clean —--

We would like to provide the people in Kenya of the highest quality, safe, clean and refreshing water.

We will do this by a water purification system which is designed by us. This new technology will purify the water. And it will aid the inhabitants so they will drink safe and clean water.

Mostly people use wells to drink warer, but even water in wells are toxic.

The problem is not only not having water. A lot of charity organisations raise funds for wells, but water in wells are toxic. This is also the reason why it is advised to foreigners not to drink water out of the tap or wells, while the people living there do this every day, because they don’t have anything else. Their health depends on clean water.

Diseases:

There is, for example, an excess of Fluoride in their water. This will result eventually in bone and tooth problems, like Dental Fluorosis, Skeletal Fluorosis, thyroid problems, neurological problems (probably leading to ADHD), and other health problems like cardiovascular problems, acne and fluoride poisoning, which can lead to abdominal pain, excessive saliva, nausea and vomiting and seizures and muscles spasms.

Generally, waterborne diseases are caused by drinking contaminated of dirty water. Contaminated water can cause many types of diarrheal diseases, including Cholera, and other serious illnesses such as Guinea worm disease, Typhoid, and Dysentery.

Solution

Our water purification technology will have four main processes which works as follows:

I. Sediment Filtration
This pre-filter stage will strain out sediment, matter, silt, and dirt and is especially important as the sediment filter protects dirt from getting to the delicate RO membranes that can be damaged by sediment.

II. Carbon Filtration
The carbon filter is designed to remove chlorine and other contaminants that affect the performance and life of the RO membrane as well as improve the taste and odour of water.

III. Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane
The semipermeable RO membrane in the RO system is designed to allow water through, but filter out almost all additional contaminants.

IV. Polishing Filtration
This will “polish” off the water to remove any remaining taste and odour, and to ensure that the water is of highest possible levels of purity. This stage also filters out any other contaminant that might have escaped all the other stages of filtration.

What we need

We need your help!
Usually, a water purification system is an expensive technology and it costs at least 150000 euros.
Our technology is cheaper and more efficient.
But we will still need at least 45000 euros. Without your help we won’t be able to bear the costs!
